can't send or save with latest CVS

I just did a CVS build (Linux) with checkout date 7 May 2001 16:10:57 
PDT, and starting with this build, neither the Send button nor the Save 
button does anything at all. Same results (i.e. nothing happens) if I 
try it from the File menu.

It had worked find in a 4 May 2001 13:00:56 PDT build.

Also, the "address completion menu" (don't know the official name) is 
all blank with this build.
