If you've read the document

and the bug (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22687), the you
are as updated as one could be.
I've gotten some feedback on the (crude) document, and when I get some
cycles I'll incorporate it.
Basically, this isn't a high priority for the Mozilla mail-news team
right now. If you'd like to be updated when things change, cc yourself
on that bug.
