A bug. There are several other regressions in the plaintext mail
display, so this is likely related. I think it's something in Gecko or
Mailnews XUL or similar, as we had it before. I filed bug 76359

I hope, it will be fixed in the next time - it messes up all the
minutious design I spent so much time on.
