Still, we'd encourage you to learn where apostrophes are supposed to be
placed without resorting to a spellchecker - which cannot tell you, for
instance, the difference between its and it's. Nor can spellcheckers
inform you if you have dropped an entire word such as "know". There is
more to be gained by skim reading what you have written before you send
it, than by hitting Ctrl-K.

There is value in being able to craft things without resorting to tools
that do it all for you. People pay money for hand-made goods they would
not pay for bulk manufactured items. Similarly there is value in
crafting words without resorting to tools to clean it up for you. It
exposes you as a craftsman.

Or at least a hobbyist. :-)
