At work we have no common email client between windows and
linux apart from Netscape 4.5, and that has some problems, especially
a tendency to crash on Linux (slackware 7, 2.2.17 kernel). I downloaded
mozilla and it is definitely an improvement from both a web browsing
stability point of view, and an email feature point of view for Linux.
Editing prefs.js to specify a useful location for email storage was easy.
However, I can't see how to change the storage location for email on
Windows so that I can reboot into Windows 2000 and have access
to my downloaded email. (Even harder will be the issue of synchronisation
for any email not downloaded from the server).
Does anyone have any pointers? The .js files in the Windows version don't
seem to have much relation to the Linux version, and I can't get a handle
on the file paths in there.
Thanks
