I am able to use TT fonts just fine in Mozilla mail under RH 6.2. I
change them at Edit->Preferences, then select Appearance->Fonts.
The Mail fonts are controlled by the Monospace entry. Though on my
machine, where I have the xfs resolution set to 100 DPI, selecting a 14
point font actually displays a 13 point font, etc (at least according to
the Gnome "Font Selector").
