I know I have asked this before and I lost the bug number for it....
When you do a search messages you get a list of hits.
In netscape 4.7 you could then click on the message and it would
reposition you in the mail header window and then you could look at the
whole thread.
In mozilla I cant find any similar functionality. When you click or open
a hit in the search dialog it opens a window for just that one message.
You then have to notice the date and manually position the mail header
window. The last time I looked at the bug it said it was targetted for 0.91
