Hi, I tried to set up an e-mail filter as told in http://help.netscape.com/products/client/communicator/IntroComm/Introcom.html 'Creating a message filter' on my Netscape 4.75 for Windows NT (german edition) but it doesn't work. The same condition tried in the function above Message filters (in my german Netscape it is 'Nachrichten durchsuchen', in english it might be something like 'Search Messages') works fine, so I think the filter simply does not start when opening the Netcape Messenger. Is there something other I have to do to make the filter work than defining and activating it? When I try to set up a filter protocol I get an error saying that the log file can't be opened because the path is missing - and the path _is_ strange: /C|/Programme/Netscape/Users/my_id/Mail/mailfilt.log. The name of the first directory C| contains a character that is not allowed as part of a filename in Windows NT. I'm sure I never typed this bullshit in the setup process and can't find where to change it. As C:/ would be a correct device name it looks alike there is a little bug in the program. Can it be this bug is spoiling the whole filter fuctionality? Herbert -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
