Search function for newsgroups

Posted this question on another ng: need to have a search fucntion on 
the newsgroup "Subscribe" section - hunting for obscure (read "long") ng 
names such as this ng gets awful hard without it.

Is there any other way (apart from a Google search) that Mozilla 
searches for ng's?
