Actually my program (which is a Windows Address Book converter) can read a
Mozilla Address Book via an algorithm written completely from scratch (no
Mozilla code used). While the program is only for windows, it is written in
C++ and would require only minor changes to port to other platforms (except
for the UI of course).

Problem is, I don't work under an open source license, so I don't know how
useful this information will be to you.
