SSL & Hotmail

Very, very new at Mozilla, I am trying the 0.9.2 version and found I
was unable to connect to Hotmail while quite able to get in to all sorts
of other sites.

My guess was that SSL was not implemented and on checking, I could not
find any entry which allowed me to turn it on.

Can anyone help please?
