I just moved to the Mozilla 0.93 mail client (plaudit at the end of
message) and foisted him my mailing list mbox-files. Then, of course, I
wrote the neccesary message filters and wanted to test them on the
messages that arrived in the meantime. Suddenly I started feeling
stupid, because I couldn't figure out how to apply the new rules to the
/existing/ messages. I tried to delete the *.msf files, hoping that the
client would refilter during msf-rebuild, but he didn't. Does anybody
know more?

praise:

The 0.93 works great for me! I promise to switch back from Opera. But
the great surprise for me is: the Mail Client! You don't know how I
appreciate it that you stay with human-readable configuration files and
the mbox format![1] I hope it works as well for my linux box.

Thanks! Keep the good work on. [2]

[1] Not like the shitty client we all know, where everything has to stay
in binary files, which are invisibly connected with guids and registry
entries, making it impossible to read the mail box for all times when
the client mysteriously breaks and the reinstallation doesn't recognize
the files anymore...
[2] But understand that I can't go away from XNews :-)
