I'm getting close to landing the folder outliner branch. (see bug #73865)
This branch has the changes to switch the folder pane and the "Select
Items for Offline Usage" dialog from the tree widget to the outliner.
The reasons for switching to the outliner are for performance and for
some painting bugs. (see #78768)
And, we'll get back the unread / total columns in the thread pane.
