I have been using mozillamail at home for several months, since 0.9.
I had it setup to filter emails from a particular source to a SUBFOLDER
of my inbox, which works fine.
Now, i have installed 0.9.3 on my machine at work, and i am stunned to
see i CANNOT create a subfolder of inbox. It is greyed out. Is this
normal? Has there been a change along the way which doesnt allow
subfolders of inbox? It is really useful for filtering, so messages are
still in the inbox folder, just further down the hierarchy.
Come to think of it, each time a new milestone comes out, my home
installation has a terrible time upgrading - i generally have to
manually import all my messages - otherwise mozilla crashes. This could
be because it is barfing at the fact that i have a subfolder of inbox...
It may also explain why mozilla at home is very slow, and on this
identical machine at work, is really quite responsive... (though my home
machine has about 7000 stored messages in its sent items folder).
Can anyone comment on this? I would really like the ability to create a
subfolder of inbox.
