Dual use of mailnoxes and mail-settings under Linux and Windows (2000)

Hello,

I think this is a question, which has been posted before, but I couldn't 
find it. Sorry.

How can I take use of my Windows mozill profile under the Linux install 
of Mozilla? Do I have to tell mozilla for every mail account to use the 
windows mboxes or is there a (hidden) option to use the whole mail 
profile including all server settings and filters? Would be handy not to 
have to enter them twice.
