Big picture - there are two things people have been looking for:
* mail sync
* address book sync
Neither are available within mozilla.
There doesn't seem to be anything active on address book sync, though
you will find a buzilla entry or two. There are a couple references:

But there is good news (and bad news) relative to mail. The bad news:
1. it is not available - I checked bugzilla and

2. it is not even part of an active project

1. several open enhancement bugs (though some have been open a couple
years)
2. one of the bugs has recent 'activity'
