Well, have you tried changing the newsgroup to something else and then
revisting the previous newsgroup that you searched on? You will find
that now the main mail window will show all messages.
Here is the "use case"
1] Go to a ng (lets say "A") w/ current view set as "Threads w/
unread"
2] Search the ng such that you will find messages that has been read
before and hence does not show currently.
3] Open a "found" message from the search results.
4] Close the opened message.
5] Click on a different newsgroup.
6] Revisit newsgroup "A". You should now see messages that were
previously read.
