The names are supposed to be case-insensitive, but lots of programs
(clients and servers) don't check for it (it's not really supposed to
be an issue, it's supposed to be handled at the time the group is
created).
BTW -- the first "official" UTF8 newsgroup has just been created.
Mozilla can't post to it...
