Do you have the option "Leave Messages on Server" checked in the settings for the mail account? (It's under "Server Settings"). If so, that would explain it. The mail client knows what it has downloaded and won't download the same message twice, but when you reinstall it the messages on the server appear as new. ---- Jim Patterson Ottawa, Ont CANADA
