I'm using IMAP, typically network connected but occasionally offline. I've
found since NS 4.x and continuing up through at least Mozilla 0.95 that from
time-to-time my downloaded messages get "blown away", that is, even though I
have downloaded my Inbox, NS/Mozilla decides to redownload all the messages.
Typically this happens after an unexpected crash, but it sometimes happens
with no provocation. This can be a real problem if I'm travelling since I
can't download many megabytes of messages via modem.

Is there anything which can be done to prevent this? Is it a known bug?

Thanks!

Bill
