Question: Should the mail notification still show (and sound?) if there is no longer any mail in the inbox? (Eg if all new mail had been deleted or moved by mail filters.) Question: Should the Local Folders icon show the mail notification icon if new messages have just been moved into it by mail filters. My view is that the new mail icons should show for mail accounts iff there is new mail in one of the accounts subfolders /after/ mail filters have been resolved. i.e. No and Yes respectively to the above questions. -- ANT...
