I'm familar with setting up a new profile folder and copying the
various folders into it and then creating a new profile that
points to the new folder. This is awkward at best.
Two problems:
If you had previously renamed a profile, you can't tell what
profiles go with which profile folders.
You can't change the location of the newsgroup xxx.rc file.
Folks keep saying you can and the little window has the
appearance that it can be changed. But, it can't be. The local
directory can be changed OK.
I assume this stuff is stored in the registry.dat file. But I
don't see how to edit it.
