What about Send Later

Mozilla 0.9.6 Win98 SE

If I compose a new message while offline and push Send a progress bar 
appears trying to send my message. Of course the message is not sent so 
I push Cancel on this Progress Bar.
After this I can't Send Later or Send (going online). Even Save or Save 
As doesn't work. The only way to save the message is to close the window 
and answer Save in the msgbox "Save - Don't Save - Cancel"
