Mail has already _been_ downloaded once it appears in the window pane. My way around the problem of HTML spam is to select the Online/Offline icon on the bottom status bar to temporarily go Offline. Selecting messages in Offline mode will not allow HTML code in spam mail to call an outside server. Hold down the CTRL key and select all the spam, then just delete. [ zack ]
