I'd like to use two different e-mail addresses with a single IMAP account in Mozilla mail. I've seen several workarounds discussed in this newsgroup and in <http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48757>. I'm wondering which workaround people think is the best.
Right now I have a dummy account set up for the second e-mail address, but I don't like this because empty POP folders show up in my account list, and when I select Get All New Messages Mozilla tries to check mail on the dummy account. I also don't want to point the dummy account to the same IMAP account as my main account, because I'm afraid that might cause problems. Any other hacks out there?
