Thanks for the help. But this is what I have been trying to do all along. Edit> Preferences> Mail and Newsgroups> Check the box labeled "Use Mozilla Mail as the Default Mail Application". But this box is greyed out like it's been disabled for some reason. Why would Mozilla disable a perfectly good email program I've been using for years as my default app? I've have never had or used Outlook or Internet Exploder for any reason and they are not loaded on my system now. It's a bit strange.....anyone got any ideas?
