Try this: close Mozilla and add the following line to your prefs.js file
(located in the same directory where the affected profile resides on
your hard drive):
user_pref("mail.server.default.dot_fix", false);
I believe this works on some builds, however I do not know the
consequences of changing this preference. Good luck. Let us know if it
