Generally Windows is the target of virus attacks. Linux could be a
target but there have been few attacks. An up to date kernel, unlike
what I am running on this box, should give good protection as long as
you don't run Netscape in your root account. BTW, I still get the stupid
"Snow White" message several times a week. That has a virus in it. I
forget which one.
