Arthur, Unless it has changed with newer builds, I am able to compact all subfolders of a mail account by selecting (highlighting) the Inbox, then selecting Compact Folders from the File menu. In my build, I can see the progress of the process in the bottom status bar as it compacts each folder in succession. [-zack-]
