Hi all!

I've noticed some strange behaviour with IMAP subfolders using last days
builds. I have an IMAP mail account with an INBOX with some 25
subfolders which may contain sub-subfolders. When I close mail/news, I
leave the INBOX expanded. The subfolders which contain sub-subfolders
are marked with a little triangle indicating they contain subfolders
which can be expanded by clicking on that triangle.

When I restart mail/news the INBOX is expanded just like before (good
behaviour). But: sometimes the triangles indicating the sub-subfolders
are gone! You can't see or open the sub-subfolders until you collapse
and expand the INBOX manually (Mozilla then checks for sub-subfolders).
This problem occurs irregularly, often after some restarts of Mozilla or
mail/news. Mostly the presence of sub-subfolders belonging to opened
subfolders the INBOX is "cached", sometimes (no specific pattern found)
the sub-subfolders are "gone".

Expected behaviour: the presence of sub(sub)folders belonging to opened
(sub)folders of the INBOX should be visible always when starting
mail/news. Either by caching, either by querying the mail server.

This problem does not happen with main folders (folders that do not
reside in the INBOX), only with folders residing in the INBOX.

Any solution or should i file this as a bug?

Reinoud.
