Like my grandfather used to say: 'There's no such thing as a dumb
question'. I have not been able to install any plug-ins properly
apparently. For instance, I already had JRE1.3.1 installed prior to Moz
0.9.7 installation, I still get prompts that I need to install that
plug-in even though I've reinstalled in the Mozilla/Plug-in folder, same
deal with Macromedia Flash and 8.5. In 'about plug-ins' Macro Flash 5
shows as being installed but does not activate and I still get a prompt
to install that plug-in. I've been a Windows user for about 6 years now
and am having problems getting the thing to kick in so it's definitely
not a silly question. Hpefully we can get a non-silly solution to this
dilema.
