I can't reproduce it reliably, but reasonably often, I will select a newsgroup, and Mozilla will basically stall. That is, it will not grab the headers, and the cursor sits in the "busy" state. When this happens, the only way to break out of the situation, is to kill the mail/news instance, and re-start it.
