While in a Newsgroup, Click Edit > Message filters and a window pops open called "Message Fiilters" In the new window, click New and a window pops open called "Filter Rules"
In the "Filter name" field, give the filter a Name, for example, the NIC of the offender who you are filtering out. In the radio button selections, it won't really matter which you select. in the "the" dropdown, select "Sender". In the "of the message: dropdown, select, if it already isn't "contains". In the field beside "contains", enter the culprits name as seen in the group. In the "then" dropdown, select "Ignore". (You can't delete the post). In the "Description" text box, type anything you like that will ID the filter in case you forget what it's for. You can leave it blank. Using the "More" button simply adds a boolean "OR" to the filter which you proabably won't need, unless you want to add some more people to it or do each culprit separately in their own filter. S.
