Does anyone know who is responsible for Smart Update with NS6? It's been a real pain in the backside to have had to download NS6 twice in the past couple of days on my dial up connection, not to mention similar huge downloads for updates. When is Smart Update actually going to be half as smart as it was with 4.7x?
ADSL and cable modems might be a wonderful thing, but please tell my telephone company since they think that people in this locality don't need it. Oh, and don't worry about my cable company, they don't do cable modems, so I'm on dial-up and am extremely pissed off with wasting an hour and a half of phone call cost whenever an update is needed. Until then, though, the NS6 Smart Update is a dead loss compared with what I got used to with 4.xx. -- Cris A dog is grateful that you come home, whatever the time.
