The way I found that you can get around that is to Right-Click the 
image, select View.  That way it opens the image in the browser.  After 
that, go to View on the menu bar and select View Source (CTRL-U).  This 
will bring up a Save-As window for you to save the image.  Quite a lot 
of work, but it works.
