My PC is running Windows 2000 SP2. It has IE6 loaded on it for 'windowsupdate' and has Netscape 4.79 (I need a Palm Pilot e-mail conduit). My browser is Moz 0.9.7.
When I launch the browser and surf and close it, the application exits correctly. If I use the mail reader, the application will close, but there will still be a mozilla.exe running in the task manager. If I try to luanch Mozilla again, nothing happens. When I shoot the process in task manager, it seems like some "lock" (for lack of a better term gets released and the application starts up. I find it out that the browser seems fine in that regard, but the mail reader won't die a nice graceful death. I realize that 0.9.8 is imminent, but has anyone seen this behavior before??? Please take the SPAM out of my return address and things will work just fine. Thanks! Mike
