How do I undelete a message

I'm connecting to an IMAP server and I've got Mark as Deleted, but I 
can't figure out how to undelete a message I've marked as deleted by 
accident.  I've tried just delete again, but that still leaves it marked 
deleted and it still expunges the message when I compact
