I searched bugzilla, but can't find anything specifically on this: Why must I open a newsgroup and actually click on a message in order to use the "mark newsgroup read" icon dropdown menu? This function must be exicuted from a right click on the newsgroup name (which I would have NEVER stumbled across, had not someone mentioned it), so it should be allowed from the icon dropdown. I frequently open a newsgroup, scan for new/interesting subjects and then want to mark it all read. I hope this isn't another case of an anal programmer trying to decide what's best for the users: N4+ and Outlook express have had this function for years. Simple user ease.
