This group - as the name suggests - is about mail and news, not about
the browser.
If you are talking about Mac OS, from Mac OS 8.5 on, there is an
Internet control panel where you can choose a path to your default browser.
If you are talking about windows, first turn off "check for IE as
default browser" in the Control Panel's internet properties, Programs
tab. Then go to Mozilla's Preferences (in the Edit menu), choose the
subcategory Advanced | System, and turn on "Windows should use Mozilla
to handle... => http:" (and eventually https: too, if you have Personal
Security Manager installed).
