Is there - and if not, should there be - a standard format for defining mail accounts?
Users have to re-enter mail account configurations with each mail client they use - POP/IMAP/SMTP servers, logins and passwords, e-mail addresses, etc. Wouldn't it make more sense to have a standard mail account definition format that holds this information? This way setting up accounts on a new mail client would be as simple as pointing it at a configuration file.
