Hi tried all day long to achieve POP configuration at a client PC in a two-PC peer-to-peer NW.
The host PC has the access to ADSL. Using AnalogX Proxy software. Everything went fine under NS4.75 Now installed NS6.2.1 On client, everything works fine except Mail reception! No message displayed, but when clicked "ask new mail" the asking won't finish, e.g. after .6sec displaying "no new messages on server" or the like. There must be a misconfiguration somewhere. Server address for the client is 10.0.0.1 I tried ist with port 110, 6588 - same sick result; remember: *no* message along the lines of "server connecting problem"! No freezing, I can abort message request alright. ANY ideas? Stephan
