ok, here's a complicated scenario that has left my mail scattered. i'm
hoping there's a reasonable solution that will allow me to reassemble it
all neatly.

here goes:

i was running NS 4.7.x on Mac OS 9.x. Mozilla/NS6 got advanced enough
that i figured i'd try them out.

i upgraded to NS 6.1. my user profile got transferred smoothly.
unfortunately, NS6 required so much memory when i only had 32MB on this
computer, that it wasn't worth using.

so i switched back to NS 4.7.x. then i got more memory. so i upgraded
again. only, this time, the mail between when i first upgraded and this
upgrade didn't migrate.

this wasn't a huge deal, as it was only a couple of months worth of email.

then, however, i upgraded to Mac OS X. i got NS 6.1 for OS X, and none
of my mail seemed to migrate across the Classic/OS X divide.

is there any way to consolidate the mail in the original scenario such
that it is all there in NS 6.1 in OS 9.2.x, and then to migrate all that
successfully to OS X?

thanks!
