Hi,

I'm using Mozilla 0.9.8 (milestone build) on Win2K. With this build, I
started getting an error message about missing DLLs when running other
MAPI applications (in this case GroupWise). In troubleshooting I found
that Mozilla is trying to delete mapi32.dll from WINNT/System32 every
time it starts up.

Ultimately I was able to work around the problem by setting MAPI32.DLL
to read only, but I'm still wondering how this happened. I searched
Bugzilla but found nothing directly on point; if this were a widespread
problem I'd expect hundreds of people to have reported it by now.

Mozilla is not now, and never was, set as the default MAPI application.
I installed 0.9.8 from the zipfile, and before doing so I completely
deleted the install directory, as well as my profile, and restarted the
machine, so there shouldn't have been any leftover settings.
Nonetheless, is there a preference or something I should be looking for
that might cause this behavior? I've never seen this in any other build
on this machine, going back to 0.9.2.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Blandon
