There are several bugs open on getting different icons for browser and MailNews for the Windows taskbar and all underlying technical issues have been fixed and we are just waiting for ...something... to happen. This is really annoying.
There is an .xpi installer for installing different icons for the impatient among you, really nice looking as well. http://grayrest.com/moz/icons.html No more opening the wrong windows while having several browser instances minimized :-)... Sebastian
