Yeah, I'm assuming that is what it is. 1.52 is pretty ancient. This style of corruption (requiring a `reconstruct`) used to appear infrequently, perhaps 2-8 times a year, way back when I was still using NS4. Moz had (prior to this episode) caused such corruption only once, but I've never seen it happen with more recent versions of Cyrus with either client. > I take it you're not getting any errors back from the imap server > when messages are labeled, either by filters or manually? No, not at all. > You could try generating an imap protocol log to get a better idea > of what's going on right before the corruption. I've kept a log for a while now, and of course I haven't seen the corruption. Typical. Nothing particularly bad is appearing in the log, anyway. Oh, and it just occured to me that the filters on Moz at work is probably the cause of new messages turning up pre-labeled. I should have thought of that sooner. 8( Given I'll finally be retiring the old 486 that is my mail server rather soonish, and replacing it and Cyrus with much newer versions, I'm not going to spend much more time on this. I'll let you know if I do come up with something concrete, however. 8) Thanks for your time.. Mike. -- Mike Gratton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "Every motive escalate."
