What version/build are you using? Are you using NS or Mozilla (you 
posted using OE).

I take it that you set the To: or Cc: does not contain..., not the Subject?

I have a lot of filters set up that work just fine. My only gripe is 
that the string matching appears to be case-sensitive which can cause 
failures - could this be your problem?
