I just did that...and in fact it supposedly is running now...but I see 
no reference in the headers of my test post or to this post that 
"X-No-Archive" is "on." I have a one line user.js file, containing only 
the line that restricts archiving, thus:

user_pref("mailnews.customHeaders", "X-No-Archive:yes");
