Meanwhile I found a solution/better workaround) for this bug:
open your prefs.js in your mozilla account, search for the newsgroupsettings:
Assuming it's your first news group then add this line:
user_pref("mail.server.server1.always_authenticate", true);
There is another problem I couldn't solve yet: Some news servers will show diffrent
groups
on diffrent accounts (or diffrent groups in that case you dson't authentify - I' m
sure
you know what I mean)
