I had to agree with you. You cannto compare Mozilla with IE+OE. IE+OE works mainly on Window$ platform (Don't know much about her solaris effort).
Mozilla must work both on Window$, linux and other platforms. I guess Mozilla actually had its own meta-code for UI to abstract the OS differences.
