It happens to me after a *crash* while reading newsgroups. From http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64476 it does not seem to be resolved and not even worked on. > Moreover, when I expend such thread, there is a display error, it expend > correctly but does not collapse correctly. Are you talking about a situation when after expanding a thread all its posts are displayed twice? <boring example> I use offline for reading news and a 'threads with unread' view. When I switch to a newsgroup Mozilla expands one thread to show first newcoming message. Then I select 'group properties->offline->download now'. When Moz downloads that 'first new' article the arrow to the left of the first article in thread changes to 'thread collapsed', but the thread is still expanded. Then I can click that arrow to _expand_ the thread - and it really expands! So it shows two copies of the thread, i.e. all its posts (but the first) are displayed in two groups. I can then click on any of the two copies of those posts and, of course, get the same message. Clicking on the thread arrow collapses only first group of messages, the second stays there. </boring example> If it's not clear, I can provide some screenshots. Tried to find it in bugzilla, but no results. I am using 0.9.8 release, but seen that in previous releases too. -- Rgrds, E2rd
